Polish Grain Day 2025

On June 5, 2025, the 4th edition of one of the most important events in Poland’s grain industry – Polish Grain Day 2025 – took place at the Kubicki Arcades in Warsaw, a unique venue located in the heart of the Royal Castle. The Kubicki Arcades is a place of rich history and prestigious character, combining the elegance of classical architecture with modern conference solutions, creating a unique space for meetings, debates, and the exchange of expertise at the highest level.

The conference brought together a wide range of experts, representatives of international companies, industry institutions, and organizations operating in the grain, feed, and food sectors, creating a space for discussion, analysis, and knowledge exchange.

Pedro Nonay, an international expert in global commodity markets (Foreign Markets Consultant), delivered a lecture titled “Geopolitics and Commodities – The Impact of New Paradigms on Agricultural Commodity Markets,” presenting a global perspective on changes in grain and agricultural commodity markets. His presentation allowed participants to view the sector from a broad international standpoint and emphasized the role of geopolitics in shaping prices and trade on global markets.

Equally interesting were the presentations by Paweł Meyer, Deputy Chief Veterinary Officer, on the principles of feed trade in crisis situations, as well as that of Hélène Duflot from Ceras Analytics, who presented forecasts and prospects for the EU grain market for the 2025/26 season.

The event also featured two discussion panels. The first – “Grain Market. Challenges and Threats” – brought together Michał Jaskowski (Louis Dreyfus Company Polska), Marcin Miśkiewicz (Cefetra Polska), and Marcin Chim (FOB BST Brokers), with the discussion moderated by Dr. Piotr Łuczak (Agrokonsument.pl / ACA&Media). The panel provided participants with practical insights into the market situation and the challenges facing grain trading.

The second panel – “A Vision for Agriculture and Food – Opportunities and Threats” – featured Alexander Döring (Secretary General of FEFAC), who shared his experience regarding the development of the European feed industry as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the agriculture and food sectors; Wojciech Zarzycki (Polish Grain & Feed Chamber); and Adam Zaleski (De Heus Polska). The discussion was moderated by Przemysław Tronina (U.S. Soybean Export Council), who also discussed the impact of the EUDR regulation on the feed industry.

After the conference part of the event, participants had the opportunity to network and visit the exhibition area presenting modern solutions and technologies supporting the agri-food sector. The day concluded with a festive Gala Dinner – full of inspiration, conversations, and a unique atmosphere conducive to building business relationships, enriched with a performance by magician and comedian Pan Li, dinner, and evening networking sessions.

The event was made possible thanks to the involvement of numerous partners. The main partner of the event was Louis Dreyfus Company. Strategic partners included Bunge, Cargill, Cefetra, the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC), and Viterra. Event partners included Biomedica, BST, Noack, and Romer Labs, while Ceras Analytics served as the content partner. Media patronage was provided by Agro Konsument, Farmer, Farmer.pl, Portalspożywczy.pl, Przedsiębiorca Rolny, Wieści Rolnicze, WieściRolnicze.pl, and WRP.pl.

Polish Grain Day 2025 once again confirmed its status as one of the key industry events, bringing together knowledge, practice, and the people shaping the future of the market.
